The biggest highlight from last week's WAIC was the update of Kwai's Keling. Just one month after the launch of the first model, an upgraded version was provided, and the web version was quickly launched. This efficiency is quite un-Kwai-like.
Basic model updates, the new model outputs at a resolution of 720P, with improved consistency and motion range in terms of aesthetics, which is almost on par with Runway. Combined with the comprehensive control methods added, Keling is indeed the strongest video generation model available now.
The concept and recognition of being the strongest model in each track is a must-strive-for goal. Once this recognition is established, the brand's subsequent promotion and growth will be much smoother. Currently, it seems that Keling has a good chance of securing its position in the video generation track.
Other project updates include:
- Support for setting the creative range of the video, the higher the range, the greater the difference from the original image or prompt word.
- Support for camera movement control, with ordinary camera movement supporting control of the movement range, and master camera movement range being automatic.
- Addition of reverse prompt word input.
- Video generation from images supports control of the first and last frames.
