Figure Unveils Figure 02 Humanoid Robot
Last week, Figure unveiled the Figure 02 humanoid robot, claiming it to be the world's most advanced AI hardware. The concept design of Figure 02 was completed in February 2023, and it took 18 months to turn this robot from concept to reality.
- Voice to Voice: Capable of connecting custom AI models with humans through built-in microphones and speakers for conversation.
- Camera: The AI-driven visual system consists of six built-in RGB cameras.
- Hands: The fourth-generation hands have 16 degrees of freedom and possess strength equivalent to that of humans.
- Built-in Vision Language Model (VLM): Enables the robot's cameras to quickly perform common-sense visual reasoning.
- Battery: A custom 2.25 kWh battery pack located within the robot's torso provides more than 50% of the energy.
- CPU/GPU: Offers three times the computing and AI inference capabilities compared to the previous generation.
